Our mission is to unite people with nature, and create a community dedicated to environmental stewardship. The Ogden Nature Center was organized as a non-profit corporation on May 19, 1975, to provide a center for nature education, science, cultural connection, recreation and quiet contemplation of the natural world. For 50 years we have united people with nature by advancing and preserving the natural and cultural history of this 152 acre nature-preserve.

We rented Ogden Nature Center Dumke Picnic Grove for a wedding venue, and it turned out amazing!! The venue was absolutely gorgeous and the event coordinator Jade was beyond helpful, accommodating, and patient with us!! We will definitely be recommending this place!

A wonderful place for families, especially if you have young children. Kids will love exploring the trails, bird nests, and open spaces. The amphitheater, yurt, and picnic tables make it a perfect spot to spend a relaxing day outdoors. We really enjoyed our visit.

Nice place to walk around for an hour or so. Lots of educational sections. In the bird exhibit, you see owls, eagles, Falcons and more. We did not stop at every spot. There's a small pond with frogs. Relaxing area to be in nature. $5 entry fee and lots of parking.

A nice little nature center, was so happy that they had a free for military month in honor of military children. Kids enjoyed looking at the ponds and playing in the kid play zone. The whole family enjoyed seeing the rescue birds as well. Especially the raven and eagles.

So beautiful and peaceful! We came in between rainstorms and so the trail smelled so good. There is a cute visitors center with items to buy like mugs, totes, stuffies, etc. We saw deer, ducks, and hawks on our visit and there is also a birds of prey exhibit with eagles, owls, and a variety of hawks. The trail is stroller accessible and there was a nice picnic area too.
